What’s A-i-R Wro?
A-i-R Wro is an artist-in-residence programme, part of ECoCWrocław 2016. The driving force behind this opportunity is to provide a platform for international dialogue, whose common language is art. Inviting foreign artists to the capital of Lower Silesia and enabling Polish artists to go on a residency programme abroad will allow us to experience new cultures through art and begin to understand what differentiates us and what unites us. The artists themselves are excellent ambassadors for art, representing the artistic microcosm of our region. A-i-R Wro, in collaboration with identical initiatives in Europe, allows for the creation of a cultural exchange between international artists.
