International Ceramic Mural: Let's meet – Wrocław 2016

The ceremony unveiling the mural : 10 November 2016 

The Monumental Ceramic Mural measures 18 x 2,1 m and is formed from various unique tiles by ceramic artists all of which have been invited from all over the world to be a part of this project. This ceramic “meeting” of different cultures and artistic structures will be realized on the wall of the underground passage “Przejście Słodowe”.

The project will portray artwork from various ceramics artists from multiple art schools cooperating with Wroclaw’s Academy of Fine Arts, and distinguished art studios long the side outstanding artists from Poland, throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa, Australia to New Zealand. 
This monumental ceramic mural will be created in Wroclaw’s architecture as reference to century old ceramic and art craft  history in Lower Silesia. The implementing this project will emphasize the uniqueness of the Geppert Academy of Fine Art as the only one in Poland with the Faculty of Glass and Ceramics, which for seventy years educated generations of the outstanding Polish ceramic artists and designers. 
The mural not only displays the profound  richness and diversity of a myriad of unique global traditions , which will be displayed in the center of the city, but also will remain for many years to come as a testimony of events held in 2016  as well as promote international artistic and academic partnerships. 
The ceremonial unveiling of the Mural will be held in second half of 2016.
