17–27 November 2016
National Forum of Music
Paid admission.

The festival is considered to be one of the most creative events in Europe. Its 13th edition will be marked by world premieres and compositions dedicated to Wrocław and to the NFM bands, including premiere performances of compositions by Jason Moran and Wayne Shorter. The programme will also feature: Bobby McFerrin, Hugh Masekala and resident artists from Japan.

The Jazztopad Festival is one of the most important jazz music festivals in Poland. After 11 years, the festival will move to the National Forum of Music—one of the most significant concert venues in Europe. Apart from organising the concerts of world-famous jazz stars, the festival also hosts premiere performances of works composed specially for the event, often combining the world of jazz with classical music. Apart from that, the festival also presents exceptional projects, which are created for the festival only. Jazztopad aims at presenting not only the greatest Polish and foreign artists, but also tries to support the young generation of jazzmen and composers. The festival has an international scope, and its events take place every year in mid-November. The event is organised by the Wrocław Philharmonic—National Forum of Music in Wrocław
