Polish Cinema for Beginners it's a series presenting a selection of the most interesting Polish films with English subtitles. This is the first project of its kind in Poland that is aimed directly at the English speaking audience, who often had no opportunities to discover Polish cinema masterworks and cult classics that define our pop culture.

March 17, Thursday at. 19:00 will be screened "DISCO POLO" by director Maciej Bochniak.

Every country does its own thing, even at the disco. In some places you will head Italo disco or turbo folk, here – disco polo. A tale of Tomek (Dawid Ogrodnik) – an honest man, who decided to become famous and steal the heart of a disco polo diva – Gensonina (Joanna Kulig), and the whole nation. Packed with pop cultural quotes this is a roller coaster ride with a soundtrack including the biggest disco polo hits.

The special guest of the screening will be Martyna Gliniecka.
