Budapest Festival Orchestra is one of the most successful ensembles on the international musical scene, listed as one of top 10 orchestras in the world.

Iván Fischer – Musical Director and one of the Orchestra's founding fathers alongside Zoltán Kocsis – is the most important figure in the ensemble. The ensemble's unique working method encourages the musicians, who in turn combine their individual characteristics, creating a unique and homogeneous sound. Both the audiences and the critics appreciate the exceptional quality of the captivating chamber music performances, as well as the entrancing dynamics and the joy of creating music shared with the audiences worldwide.
